MENTAL HEALTH FIRST AID
The Mental Health First Aid course is a practical, skills-based programme that trains participants to recognise and respond to someone experiencing a mental health problem or mental health crisis. Participants who complete the Mental Health First Aid training are known as Mental Health First Aiders. Equipped with skills to listen, connect and offer support, Mental Health First Aiders play a vital role in reducing stigma and supporting people experiencing mental health problems in workplaces, communities, schools and tertiary institutions.
